Meet the Artist

Alexa Kelly is the artist behind Live in Living Watercolor. She grew up with a passion for art, taking classes and obsessing over Bob Ross. Into adulthood, Alexa moved away from her artistic interests in favor of school, family, and career. In December of 2020, Alexa was trying to give her husband the perfect present and decided to paint him a picture of their children. That small gift sparked a passion in Alexa that was buried deep for so long. Thus, Live in Living Watercolor is born.

Wanting to bring special moments to life with paint, Alexa has a passion for painting portraits and special memories. Painting weddings in plein air is an exciting new addition to Alexa's repertoire. Always excited to develop new skills, Alexa is happy to work with clients to bring their special moments to life.
